Walking Walls

Walking Walls is a project to document divided countries and communities in Israel/Palestine, Cyprus, and Northern Ireland. In the spring of 2012, I walked along the Separation Barrier in the Jerusalem Envelope, in the Buffer Zone in partitioned Cyprus, and nearly all of the Peace Walls that line the streets of Belfast, Lurgan, Portadown, and Derry/Londonderry. The resulting photography and writing is a reflection of my experiences on this journey. The pictures below represent a selection of the entire body of work.
